Flemish Parliament Unlocked

The Academy of Anderlecht (Brussels) concludes its celebration of 40 years of artistic activity with the exhibition "Unlocked"  in the buildings of the Flemish Parliament in Brussels. Unlocked is an appropriate name since the building was formerly the Postal Cheque office with the protected counter room "the Loketten".
As provincial and municipal elections take place this October, it seems to me that politicians of all different stripes are more present in the street scene. In the second picture is shown Pascal Smet (SPA,  socialist party) (at the left smiling) Flemish Minister of Education and Carla Dejonghe (VLD,  liberal party) member of the Brussels Parliament.

  2. What a lovely smile he has too! I often think that leaders somehow look like leaders and I can imagine that he draws people in no matter what his views.

    I like the idea of this exhibition. Celebrating artistic activity. And "Unlocked" is a great name. It gives the idea that the state secrets of the past are out in the open now.

      I also like the idea of unlocked in what used to be Locked windows and counters of a State bank.
      Fun to see 40 years of artistic activity celebrated indeed..
      As to politics, it is a subject I avoid blogging about ... nevertheless it becomes impossible to ignore the preparatory electoral activity and I will show more of that tomorrow or so...
