Bois de la Cambre - Terkamerenbos Brussels

I guess it must happen to you to..? I live so close to this absolutely gorgeous park that I rarely think of taking pictures or blogging about it.
Even so, today I decided I want all of you to know about this wonderful park in Brussels which has something for every age and taste: ... ducks to watch or feed, boats to row, ice skating, a ferry to cross over to restaurant "Chalet Robinson" on the island. Even the Police take out the horses for a stroll in the park. As I do not know the latest rule about photographing the public forces, I took a quick and blurry photo.
True, as is said in the observations in the link below, our park is not Central Park or Hyde Park but it is the preferred spot of many a Brussels inhabitant.

Matching fall colors?

....she seemed to enjoy the scenery in Brussels' Bois de la Cambre so much that I did not want to interfere and ask her to 'pose' for a picuture...

Walking on water

At the Embarcadero in Brussels' Bois de la Cambre, a man in uniform navigates a wooden ferry to bring  customers to the other side of the lake where they can enjoy drinks and dinner at Chalet Robinson.
I thought his picture would look pretty cool on This is Belgium and started chatting with him,  hoping he would approve being photographed as he did.
Suddenly,  two people showed up carrying big white letters J and C.   They had come to illustrate,  in a as literal way as possible,  the Biblical story of Jesus walking on water.

In the park, a month and a half later

Not every year on November 14  in Brussels do people enjoy sunshine, biking and ice cream in the Bois de la Cambre.  The couple from October 1, who received so many inspirational comments from all of you, was there again... another bench,  same clothes, sunglasses instead of an umbrella.

Story time

Setting up shop in the park and I have no idea where this construction was going to lead....therefore,  a perfect opportunity to give your imagination a free run.

Activity in the park

Le Bois de la Cambre/Ter Kamerenbos, wonderful park at the South end of the city, caters to every taste. Working out with a personal trainer seemingly does not necessarily have to be a grueling experience, although the ladies do take it a bit easier on their afternoon walking excursion.
