Marilyn and all...

Perfect sunny Spring Sunday at the North Sea Beach, last day of Easter holiday, fun for all!

Best wishes for 2016!

The Belgian coast has always been my favorite place of escape from every day life.
On the last day of this unique year, I want to conclude with an image of the magnificent North Sea and wish all of you happiness, peace and the very best for 2016.

Duinbergen

For years, this is where I got off the train when I went to the Belgian coast. Surprised to see what is left from the train station and wondering what will replace, it if anything.
Update: these photos were taken a while ago.
And yes, something else took the place of what is gone, I am told.
Will be heading out that way soon to confirm and  share with you.

Hitchcock

On the last day of my short North Sea holiday, I was suddenly seeing birds all over... Time to pack up and go home!

The North Sea

Our North Sea is special for several reasons.
One thing I like about it is that, depending on the time of day or night, a very different picture turns up even if the photographer takes it in (almost) the same spot.
