I do not really understand the difference between winter tires, all season tires, summer tires... fact is, like everyone else in my 'hood, I spent hours waiting while the shop switched my summer tires for winter tires. It was so extremely frustrating, and being unable to relax or work like the above examples, all I could do to pass time was iphone-shot snapping in the little waiting area.

ReplyDeleteIs it something to do with winter tyres having more grip in the icy weather Annie? I'm not sure, we don't have that predicament here, no snow unfirtunately :) I enjoyed your photographic documentation of the different way people spent their time while they waited :)
ReplyDeleteI bought winter tires for my bike last week. They have a lot of spikes. I need to go for a 40 km ride on asphalt before the roads get snowy and ice, but I'm not sure if they will fit on my wheels yet.
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
didn't they tell you at school always to cary a book?
ReplyDeleteAll car owners have had these waits. I'm with the guy with the book. Reading is always a good escape. I've got my winter tires mounted on wheels, so I just have to change the tires in the fall and spring to get the right ones on.
ReplyDeleteI don't bother. Winters aren't that hard here.
ReplyDeleteHallo Anni,
Prettig weekend,
Frans
With a good book, a long wait can be transformed in a very good and pleasing moment!
