à la Edward Hopper

While this young man was just sitting there minding his own business, reading or studying,  not noticing anything or anyone, he reminded me somehow of the painings of Hopper. It made me want to try out whether a bit of photoshopping would enhance this "Hopper" cachet of the photo.

  4. Grazie mille Sciarada,

Bon shoot

  6. Don't know about Hopper (because I don't know Hopper that well) but I like the new atmosphere you've created!

  7. really love this photo - the whole mood of it ... it's really inspiring how you capture random moments like this - and yes it does work giving it the 'Hopper treatment!

  12. I just love synchronicity! I just learnt about Edward Hopper through my post on Shaun Tan's The Lost Thing, and here you are giving the Hopper treatment to photos. Great shots too. I've never been to Belgium, and don't know all that much about it, great to get a glimpse.
