Ha !! Am I succeeding in convincing you ??.. the train ride from Paris is only about 1.15 hour and if you make up your mind and buy the Thalys ticket ahead of time, you will have a lot of euros left for moules and chocolates ! Can't wait to meet you here... for someone from Mobile any season will be a refreshing experience :-). If I had to chose myself, I would go for either June or September - beginning of October (air fare and no tourist season)
