Elections in October
For as long as I can remember I have noticed a link between city works and communal elections. In Belgium the next communal and provincial elections take place in October and I have the impression that it becomes more difficult to take a decent picture in Brussels without having the view impaired.

ReplyDeleteHa! je hebt het ook gemerkt :-)
Hier in Spa kan je bijna niet meer de straat op wegens alle werken die er momenteel gaande zijn...

ReplyDeleteWe will be having our elections in November and for about the last year there has been a lot of campaigning going on! Both parties are fully engaged trying to rally up their bases!
ReplyDeleteI know I will be glad to get our elections in November over with. The closer it gets to November, the nastier the politics get! Hope yours go well!!

Surprise! Here, with the Scottish independence campaign hotting up, there has been an announcement that a notoriously dangerous road will be fully converted to dual carriageway much sooner than planned. Hmmm. Nice, but it's not enough to get me to vote for an independent Scotland.
